Ingredients

  • 1 tspdemerara syrup2 parts sugar to 1 part water
  • 3 dashesAngostura bitters
  • 2 ozbourbon
  • 1large ice cube
  • 1 striporange peel

Equipment

  • Rocks glass
  • Bar spoon

Method

  1. Stir the demerara syrup and bitters together in the bottom of the glass.

  2. Add the bourbon and the ice cube, then stir until well chilled, 30 seconds.
